The Day’s Delight: Trusting the Messengers

Me: [generally anxious about making the same mistakes again, sad about feeling sad, not loving this exact moment of the process]

Jon: Let me ask you something: How do you like your life?

Me: I mostly like it a lot!

Jon: That’s the result of you trusting yourself.

Me: [shuffles tarot deck] How do I not do the sad-mad-hard-stuck things again?

Cards: Surrender to the situation. Deal with what needs to be left behind. Be diligent and thoughtful. Connect mind and body. Watch for signs. Let go of anger as fuel or armor. This is a special moment, a parting of the veil– and this is only the midway point. Trust yourself and keep going.

The Day’s Delight: Stenography

Words written over and over. Cards shuffled and laid out:

If you put a frame around any three things, they mean something. When we stop and look at this moment we can see the messages waiting for our wonder, feel the currents of communication running between each cryptic image.

Living is the act of asking questions and listening, talking back to the Sacred Invisible, using everything at hand to see It in the potent dark.

Keep looking. Keep listening. Write it down. Read it aloud to yourself, then read it again. Be your own stenographer and see what the world is telling you, just waiting for you to notice.
